I present to you an ultimate guide on how to avoid crappy games on Google Play Store!

Posted: 31 Aug 2016 01:06 AM PDT

  1. Does the title contain word "of"? If yes, then it's 75% chance a crappy game.
  2. Does it follow pattern "something of something"? Add 10% extra.
  3. Does it mention realms, kingdoms, war, clash, age in its title? Add 15% extra

Now you know how to avoid crappy games!

Google Play. You have one freaking job

Posted: 30 Aug 2016 02:03 PM PDT

Show me games freaking made this weak. I am legit mad. I can only find scum of earth in top new, or new releases, no one should care about a "new release" that was made in 2014! Seriously if you want to expand your company to compete with apple do something right. Gosh i can freaking program this crap with a snap of a finger, it's not hard to show games that were uploaded recently. Nuff Said.

If you could choose one game in the $5- $15 price range what would you go for?

Posted: 31 Aug 2016 01:22 AM PDT

I'm looking to spend a bit on a large game that brings a lot of value. No IAP, not that I have anything against them just looking for a proper full game to play for once.

What medium priced games do you have that were 100% worth the buy?

Currently between Crashlands or Knights of the old republic. But open to suggestions.

What are some good options for a sub $30 controller for retro gaming?

Posted: 31 Aug 2016 12:44 AM PDT

I know, I know; there's a million posts around asking a similar question but I'd like recommendations a bit more catered to me.

I'd like not to spend so much on an Android controller, so I figured I should get something below $30, and from what I've seen there's a lot. Sadly, too much for me to decide on my own without consulting you lovely bunch.

I'm mostly going to be doing retro gaming (Nes, Snes, GB, GBA) so I'm not concerned what I'm able to play on the Playstore as much as I am concerned about compatibility with emulators. So, a good D-Pad is a must.

I'd also like it to be able to hold my phone.

If you could link them to Amazon that'd be much appreciated. Thanks!

If I'm not looking to play extremely demanded games, is getting the shield still worth it?

Posted: 30 Aug 2016 05:51 AM PDT

I'm not against paying for premium full graphic intensive games, but currently I'm mainly looking for something with a bigger screen.

Specifically I got crashlands and the screen is just too small on my phone for it to be comfortable..

Any suggestions?

Exiles of Embermark - a combat RPG that focuses on character development is entering beta soon!

Posted: 30 Aug 2016 09:13 AM PDT

The brief rundown for this game is that it's a beautifully designed fantasy RPG with emphasis on Character Development, PVP/PVE Combat, Guilds (Houses), and a Game World that is player driven. It also has very little in the way of free to play shenanigans (no timers, multiple currencies, etc.) and will be very similar to Hearthstone in its pay model.

The subreddit /r/exilesofembermark is just getting started (come join us!) and has a few previews for PVP/PVE combat, the game world, weapons and armor, as well as upcoming updates on the lore, house (guild) system, crafting, and several others - or if you want a taste now you can check out this Character Development Preview to get a feel for what developing your character would be like.

EoE will be entering beta soon so we can expect a lot of information to start rolling out and the DEVS are phenomenal with explaining their goals and communicating with players both on the forums and live chat on the discord app, where we have a nice community already in place discussing the game.

To enter for a chance at the beta sign up here. Thanks all!

Did anyone update to Android Nougat (7.0)? Does it make any difference in games?

Posted: 30 Aug 2016 11:36 AM PDT

Supposedly Android Nougat (7.0) brings in major optimizations. I'm still waiting for it on my Nexus phone. Did anyone try it out with graphic intensive games? Does it make games load faster/play smoother?

[DEV]Square Wars - Super Green, check out my new game made with Kenney's assets!

Posted: 30 Aug 2016 06:23 AM PDT

Hi, it took me some time to finish this game and its my biggest game project so far.

Link to the store: Square Wars - Super Green

As mentioned in the title this was made with Kenney's assets which are free for commercial use. I had to change and modify some of them to achieve what I wanted but besides that they were used just as they are. The game is inspired by Super Meat Boy gameplay, but It should be original by its own. I've got algorithm that allow player to slide on any angle. The player is also able to use laser pistols and even a sword. Hope you like it, please give me some feedback if there is enything you would like to point out. There are like 80 levels, but most of them are very short if you don't want to pick up all the hidden gems.
