| Is there a way to obfuscate the assets folder? Posted: 02 Jun 2016 07:10 PM PDT My app relies on some resources that are just sitting there in the assets folder. Anyone can just unzip the apk and get them. They don't have confidential information or any private keys or anything, but it would provide an easy head start for someone looking to copy my app. I'd rather not it be that easy. (In particular, I have an app where you can overlay text with custom fonts on some image. So, in my assets folder I have a bunch of freely available fonts. But still, I want the person trying to copy my app to have to download each of the fucking fonts one by one) I hate the kind of apps that make you download some shit on the first startup, that's just terrible UX. It is a very simple app but I hope it will help absolute beginners understand the basics such as RxJava, RecyclerView, Activities, etc. I've tried to stick to the material design principles as closely as possible.
