Would you be interested in a randomly generated RPG? and what would you want in it? Posted: 13 Dec 2016 09:43 PM PST I recently have been porting my random world generator to android and was very surprised by the speed I got. So I have been working on some basic skyrim-esque gameplay and it seems very promising. So I would like peoples input on this to see what they would want in a game like this and how much they want it. I will post some early screenshots and some more gameplay information soon. Edit: Here are some basic screenshots of the terrain:IMAGES This is all running on my galaxy s4 at mostly 60fps(which blows my mind) and never goes below about 45fps when doing thing like loading more of the world. I'm still working on this and it will change alot before it is finished. There are currently very basic villages which I am working on improving right now and then I plan to connect them all with roads. Feature list/already in the game: -Fully procedural world -First person combat(swords/shields/bows) -Villages Working On: -Villagers -Quests -Inventory -Dungeons Possibly added: -Village Interiors -Animals/Wildlife -Multiple types of worlds(e.g. Islands) -House building and Survival mode. Posted: 13 Dec 2016 09:46 PM PST I'm really sorry about the vague details, but maybe it will click with somebody. I vaguely recall seeing some gameplay of this, but I can't find it anymore. I'm not even sure if it's Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc. but I recall some of the gameplay. It's also a game that can be played in both landscape and portrait mode, which is kind of rare to see nowadays. The menus have a tan background colour, like old maps. There was a chat feature, and you could look at profiles of other players (I'm not sure if they were real players or NPCs... this game may be online only, but I'm not sure). The way you could look at details in profiles reminded me of a mystery game... or maybe a dating sim game? You could make a squad (of 5?) and the battling reminded me of Brave Exvius, as your team was on the right and the enemy was on the left. There were magic users in the game, and I think it was a fantasy/historical setting? There's a town. The colours and returning to town after each battle reminded me of Bastion and a bit like Titan Quest. Platform(s): iOS/iPhone Genre: RPG Estimated year of release: 2016? Graphics/art style: Colours of the environment reminded me of Bastion, but the look of characters were Eastern style. Notable characters: One of the blue mages in the video reminded me of Vivi a little bit. They do a kind of squishy stomp animation when casting spells. Notable gameplay mechanics: Kind of like Brave Exvius during the fights, but when you're in town, you walk around with an isometric view like in Titan Quest or Akaneiro: Demon Hunters. Other details: There's an elaborate chat system and an overview map to travel between regions. Thank you! [link] [comments]
Is the Nvidia Shield Tablet worth it? Posted: 13 Dec 2016 03:55 AM PST I currently have the LG G4, every game I've tried on it works great but i don't want to use it as my primary source of playing android games. I'm thinking of getting another device that's strictly for playing games. Would the Nvidia Shield Tablet be a good purchase? and is it an upgrade to the G4 (performance wise)? I'm looking to test out the Dolphin Emulator on it too. [link] [comments]
Any chance Rockstar ports Manhunt to android? Posted: 13 Dec 2016 03:09 PM PST They've continually ported several titles of the GTA franchise and recently released Bully. Is there a possibility that we see Manhunt on android devices in the near future? [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 Dec 2016 08:34 PM PST My phone (Huawei P8 lite running android 5.0.1) doesn't want to connect with the Moga Pocket. When I try to pair it, it comes up as a device called "00:1E:B5:06:B6:7C". I have tested this, and on other phones it quickly changes to the normal "MOGA" or "BD&A" name and connects. My P8 doesn't do that. It doesn't seem to understand what it's receiving for some reason. Anybody else come across something like this? I can't find anything on Google. [link] [comments]

An Overview of LiquidSky [Video] Posted: 13 Dec 2016 06:39 PM PST Basically I made a video covering the basics of LiquidSky, a cloud gaming service. I'm not good at commentating but felt they deserve more coverage and wanted to spread more information about the services. I've probably had over 200 hours inside the service with a majority of it being from Android. So you have any questions about the service let me know and will answer to the best of my ability. What is LiquidSky? [Cloud Gaming] [Windows Games on Android] I also have a single beta key left, that expires in two days. Leave a comment on the video if you're interested and check out community.liquidsky.tv they give out keys there as well. My Device: Nvidia Shied Tablet & Nvidia Shield Controller [link] [comments]

[Other] is anyone interested in starting a Durango subreddit with me? Posted: 13 Dec 2016 11:53 AM PST I noticed there's no Durango subreddit yet, and seeing as r/Durango is a subreddit for the place, not the game, I was hoping I could get some help in creating r/DurangoGame! Sorry mods if this is in the wrong spot, I'm not sure where else to post it. PM me if you're interested! [link] [comments]
