The bar disappears when I open a chat with someone and remains hidden as long as I keep the app open. I have the on-screen navigation keys turned off as I use gesture controls on my Nexus 6P. I'm currently using Talon, but the app doesn't store the images, gifs, or embedded tweets. So when I lose reception, they all fail to load. I was wondering if there was an app for Android that automatically turned off wifi/LTE/Bluetooth when you turn off your phone and periodically re enables them every X minutes to check for notifications in the background.
