Official CM 12.1 Nightly builds are now live for all the T-Mobile LG G4 H811 devices.
Follow our guide below to download the update and install it yourself.
CyanogenMod 12.1 Nightly is based on the AOSP Android 5.1.1 Lollipop releases.
÷ Prerequisites:
•Use this tutorial only with the T-Mobile LG G4 H811.
– the model number of your device can be verified under Settings> About Phone.
– make sure that the H811 version is listed under Model Number.
– don’t try to use this guide with any other different devices.
• Your phone has to be rooted and running the latest build of CWM or TWRP custom Recovery.
– both CWM-based and TWRP Custom Recovery releases are going to work with the tutorial, as long as you’ve kept the one installed updated to its latest version.

÷ How to Install CM 12.1 Nightly Android 5.1.1 custom ROM for T-Mobile LG G4 H811:
1- Download the CM 12.1 Nightly zip and Gapps for Android 5.1.1 ROM.
2- Move all the zip files on to your device’s internal storage.
– do not unzip the files.
– when the files are copied you can disconnect the device from computer.
3- Switch off the LG G4.Boot your phone in Custom Recovery Mode.
– the guide that we’ve linked is destined for LG G3 phones, but it will work for LG G4 models, too.
4- Create a NANDROID ROM Backup:
– for CWM-based recoveries you can use the ‘backup and restore’ option.
– for TWRP select the ‘backup’ options menu.
– set the file name and confirm process.
5- Factory Reset your smartphone:
– for CWM select ‘wipe data/ factory reset’ process.
– for TWRP select ‘wipe’.
– confirm.
6- Now you can begin the CM 12.1 Android 5.1.1 Nightly ROM installation:
– CWM: select ‘install zip from sdcard’, then ‘choose zip from sdcard’.
– TWRP: select ‘install’ option.
7- Find the CM 12.1 Nightly zip and confirm the installation.
8- When the new ROM is done installing you can flash the Gapps zip, too.
– use the same actions as in step 8 in order to find the Gapps file.
9- Reboot your phone in normal mode when the custom ROM is done installing.
– note that the first boot process of this new CM 12.1 ROM will take at least 10 minutes before it is completed.
10- Use your default Google account in order to regain control over your device again.
If the installation fails, then you can try to repeat the whole guide more than once.
